Antique, collectable, hand-painted bisque Kewpie 'Rose O'Neill' Bride and Groom wedding cake toppers.
From my own grandparent's ~1928 wedding cake in Pittsburgh PA.
Fragile and almost 100 years old.
Excellent condition except the bride's veil is damaged in back. No cracks, chips or repairs. Yes, the fabric is yellowed with age.
Groom's outfit is mostly crepe paper with one pearl button and plush flower lapel and top hat is attached to head with original cord.
Bride's outfit is mostly veil and ribbon with flapper hat and plush flower bouquet.
Both have bisque body, with legs to head as one piece, with moving bisque arms attached by string at the shoulder. 3.5 inches tall. Note their tiny blue wings on their shoulders and their distinctive kewpie hair topknots.
