This is an 87 piece china set, service for 10 plus some extras. It is the Guilford pattern, #5291, which features a simple white with gold trim. This pattern was made from 1952 - 1973 and was made by Noritake.
This set is in very nice condition and has definitely been well cared for.
There are no chips or cracks. With the exception of 1 salad plate. It has a very small chip under the rim that doesn't show. In a pinch this set could be a service for 11.
There may be light utensil marks and a couple of areas that a small portion of the gold in the thin trim could be worn from normal use. There is a portion of thick gold, worn from the sugar bowl rim and can be seen in the pictures.

I choose "excellent" as condition on most of my listings. Craigslist's choices are "good" then "excellent" with nothing in between. About 70% of my items are in "very good" condition, with about 25% in excellent condition and only about 5% that fit in the "good" category and if they fit that is what I choose as the condition.
We do not have a store so all items are sold by appointment only.
