We are a family owned business seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) for the construction of a five month long, $5M parking lot and road improvement project near Summerhaven which is east of Tucson, Arizona.
Initial qualifications include the following:
(a) Four years of experience managing quality control on highway construction projects
of similar type and scope, and
(b) National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level III certification, or equivalent, in highway construction or highway materials.
The primary qualification of a QCM is the desire and ability to successfully collaborate with our management team to complete the following:
• Checking and verifying construction staking, lay-out and grade control.
• Verifying that delivered materials conform to the contract.
• Checking and verifying that construction items such as concrete formwork, hoisting, haul route access, traffic control, erosion control, safety plans, etc. conform to the contract and approved submittals.
• Documenting jobsite activities.
• Safety and Environmental meetings, inspections and reports.
• Receiving, reviewing and responding to correspondence.
Depending upon the candidate’s experience, the pay will range from $53 to $45 per hour. In addition, we offer the following:
