Offered here is a Specialized Sirrus that dates to the late 1980’s but on casual inspection could easily pass for a new bike. It's been completely rebuilt. The Ferrari red paint and decals are in excellent condition, there are no dents or significant scratches. The frame measures 55.5cm (center to top) seat tube with a 56cm top tube. This bike was restored from the “ground up” and outfitted with a number of new “high end” parts that are worth mentioning. It has brand new 9 Speed Shimano Bar-end shifters, new cabling for the shifters and derailleurs and a vintage Selle Italia Turbo saddle. The cranks and derailleures are Shimano 105.Worth mentioning are the excellent Ksyrium Elite Wheels that are smooth as silk. Shimano SPD-SL pedals are included as pictured. The handlebars are shallow drop 42 cm and are brand new. There is also brand new bar tape just installed. Specialized still makes a bike called a Sirrus but it doesn’t come close to what is offered here in terms of frame and component quality. This is a lugged steel frame the”new” Sirrus is aluminum and the ride quality between the two is significant. Steel is compliant aluminum is not and relies solely on tire pressure to take up road shock. Questions please call me. DO NOT TEXT
