Don’t be fooled by her vintage-looking matte green finish. She is an efficient, smooth-riding little speedster. She was too small for me when I bought her years ago, yet I was so taken by her green patina that I had her rebuilt with a new 38x17 single speed drivetrain, wheels and brakes. I’ve ridden her very little with the one notable outing being the time I met my (now) wife at a bar for the first time in 2009. I put a new Brooks saddle and cork grips on Edith a few years ago with the hopes my wife would ride it more. That plan didn’t work and Edith still sits unused, so it’s time for her to move on.
