I am selling my uncle's old Cannondale Touring bike that I inherited when he passed away. This bike is in great condition as this was my uncle's only form of transportation and he took great care of it.
My uncle road this bike across the US once and from Ohio to Colorado and back two times. It is an XL frame and I have found that it is too large for me (I am about 6' tall) to ride comfortably for an extended amount of time so I am reluctantly selling it. After inheriting the bike I installed new Panaracer Gravel King tires, put on new Portland Design Works donut handle bar tape, put on a more comfortable WTB seat. and had a tune-up done at Hello Bicycle and was planning to do some bike touring on it since it has such a strong frame and to carry on the legacy of its adventures. As far as I know everything else on the bike is original.
While trying to find information about classic Cannondale bikes for this posting, I found that this bike's serial number starts with an "N" which vintagecannondale.com lists as a 2002 model. However, when I look at the product catalog on the site from 2002, the T800 is yellow. The scanned in booklet is too pixelated to see if they offered a blue model during this year.
If you have any additional questions please let me know, I am happy to provide any additional information.
