Live in sonoita about 30 minutes from i10 and highway 83
Trusty old truck been in the family since '95.
5.7 v8 automatic 2wd.
Clean title.
Brand new 700r4 transmission from a shop in tucson in it. Only has about $100 worth of gas through it since the trans was done. Less than 1000 miles for sure.
$600 remote start and power door locks added for remote unlocking and starting.
Amp sub (single 10) decent sound.
Brand new battery.
Front buckets and center console from a suburban.
Has ac, will need servicing as of now. Does work. Low on freon.
Almost every part on this truck has been replaced with a lifetime warranty part over our ownership since 2005. 20 years of owning it directly. Belonged to uncle for the 10 years prior to that. We got it with 50k original miles.
Radiator, water pump, fan clutch, alternator, starter, all the ignition system (cap plugs wires coil), anything and everything you can imagine. Have a 3 core aluminum racing radiator with trans cooler and dual 15 inch 5000 cfm fan cowl set up for it too brand new in the shed for it too. Have a bunch of other brand new parts in the shed too. New fuel pump. Fan controller. All go with it.
I daily drove this beast for 8 years. My dad dailyed it for 10 years before that.
Tires have good tread. Older rubber now.
Only known issues are odometer/speedo quit just before trans (shows 190k) and the door pins need new bushings. Going to need an alignment again (live down a bumpy dirt road).
Trans shop was back logged, took over a year to get the truck back to me. I ended up buying another truck in the mean time and since then only drive this truck to the gas station and back once a week for fun with my kids (they like the stereo).
Dont need two trucks.
Trans was $2500 alone. Asking $4500 for the whole truck with all the extra parts in my shed (about $800 worth of brand new parts for it).
So thats $1200 for the truck. $2500 for a brand new 700r4, and buying the parts that are for it since I dont own another obs.
Daughter wants the truck when shes 16 but thats a while from now. So I figured id let someone else enjoy the truck for now and find something for her then.
