WW2 war bond advertisement from Michaels Jewelers in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Includes original stamped envelope with 1939 Martha Washington 1 ½ cent stamp. Lovely artwork by American illustrator EF (Edmund Franklin) Ward, a fellow classmate of Norman Rockwell. Ward also produced artwork for Youth's Companion, Liberty, Ladies' Home Journal, Redbook, Pictorial Review, McCall's, Country Home, Country Gentleman, Saturday Evening Post, Woman's Home Companion, American, Collier's. Item is in mint condition.
