My mother had several unpainted ceramic pieces, including this pair of serving plates. Each has four compartments and measures 11" in diameter. Mom etched her name, and in this case, "Kodiak, Alaska, 1970" on the bottom of each piece. We were stationed there in the Navy. You can use "multi-surface" acrylic paint available at any arts and crafts store. Regular acrylic paint won't stick to ceramics. Price is for the pair. Perfect condition with no cracks or chips.
