Wedgewood Gas Stove - $2100 (Tucson)

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Wedgewood
model name / number: 1948 gas stove
size / dimensions: 40x30x46h

Antique Wedgewood Gas Stove, beautiful condition, circa 1948. Lots of nice chrome, replaced porcelain burners, replaced oven thermostat. We restored this about 17 years ago, used it for a year and loved it; then we moved to a house with no gas in the kitchen. We couldn't bear to leave this beauty so we brought it with us, intending to install gas in the house but have never gotten around to it. It's time to let someone enjoy this wonderful stove. It has been stored under a tarp on a covered patio for the past 15-16 years. I don't have a way to demonstrate it now, but it was working when we took it out. We had everything re-chromed (very expensive!), had the burners refurbished with new porcelain, replaced the oven thermostat, rebuilt the valves, replaced the insulation and wiring. I even got the clock working! Extremely heavy, built like a tank. It is missing one or two tiny trim pieces but is otherwise complete and (probably) operational. It has 4 burners and a chrome griddle (we never used the griddle), 1 oven and 1 "Wedgewood Radiant Emberglow Broiler" and is standard 40" width. Asking $2100.
