World Care, a local 501(c) 3 organization recycling for Humanity First! Over 190 local non-profits pull product through World Care to help them meet their mission goals for their clients!

We have a multitude of volunteer needs and hours. You can volunteer as little or as much as you like. Come into our location at 3538 E. Ellington Place (Alvernon/32nd Street inside the old Julia Keen Elementary School).

•If you like people, our bookstore & thrift store has openings Mondays through Saturdays 9am to 3pm
•If you like working with books, our bookstore has over 62,000 library and textbooks to work with!
•If you like to repair items, we have hundreds of household and office electronics needing your expertise.
•Wanna destroy a computer? Help us disassemble outdated computer.
•Like to clean? There are always cleaning jobs from sorting donations to make that coffee pot work! Hundreds of different donations come in daily that need your skills and expertise!

We take books, computers, small TVs, household furniture and small household appliances, clothing, metals, cardboard, paint to school and clinic needs, blankets, gently-used beds for group homes and half-way houses, etc. No refrigerators, no freezers, no biohazards, no pets and no children ;-) Call for info at 514-1588 today!
