Kash 4 A Kidney Org, a local charity supporting those with diabetes and chronic kidney disease has finally opened their first thrift store! On a prayer and a wing, they have managed to put together a small store for the purpose of fundraising to help build a Learning 4 Living Center. The Center will support, educate and raise awareness of Diabetic Kidney Disease and will offer lectures on the subjects of nutrition, healthy living and how to live with the disease with a positive spirit. In addition to that we will offer learning for living skills such as cooking from scratch for healthy eating, painting, crafting, jewelry making and a host of other free classes to drop in on!
In order to make our vision a reality we are recruiting as much support as possible from Tucsonians and our winter visitors!

Clean gently used clothing, small furniture items, household items, estate sale/yard sale leftovers and just about anything else you find you don't need any longer is accepted gratefully!!!

Our start date for building the Learning 4 Living Center is June 20011 and it's only around the corner! PLEASE SUPPORT US SO WE CAN SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY OF DIABETIC AND CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE PATIENTS WITH A POSITIVE FORWARD OUTLOOK ON LIFE!
Our shoppe is open 7 days a week at 10 am. We close at around 5ish - if it's quiet but we will stay open until 6 if demand is heavy!
We can arrange pick up of donated items or you may bring them to the store anytime during opening hours.
