I hope that the SECULAR leader of our SECULAR government makes his choices based on reason, science, and innate human morality and not on the ridiculously outdated moral code of bloodthirsty bronze age pastoralists.

Not to mention that the uninvolved Deist God of the founding fathers has about as much in common with the modern Christian fundamentalist God as Zeus does with Quetzalcoatl.

The USA does have Christian roots, and racist roots, and imperialistic roots, and genocidal roots, but that does not mean that we should cling to these 18th century ideals now that we know better.

Grow up already!
