I've always had great respect for native americans/Indians. The western world would be better off for learning and practicing a more spiritual way of life as you and your ancestors always have rather than basing failure and success and everything else under the sun on the almighty dollar.
But laws and rules are unfortunately a necessary evil and if we were to leave our borders open most of the worlds population would begin migrating here.
America’s population would likely double in a few short years and would continue growing while our natural and economic recourses run dry and we're no longer a desirable destination to migrate to let alone live in.
Surely all tribes have their own laws and rules that are established to keep the tribe strong and protect the things they consider important. I'll bet not all tribal members or non-tribal members agree with the laws or find them to be fair yet it's in the best interest of the tribe to uphold them.
Fair or unfair, america needs the necessary evil of borders to protect her best interests.
I agree that the citizens of mexico deserve a better life but they need to shake up their government and force them if necessary to take care of it's country's common people rather than feeding the fat cats at the top of the totem pole who never seem to get full.

Respectfully,
Dan
