either way its higher end than most places, so its FUN, & its a gr8 place for pics and to film or audio recording etc...however on a side note -
not every club in LA is pay to play.... there is a smaller club right next door to the whiskey, called the- cat club
it is not pay to play, you get a % of door cover, providing you bring some peeps thru the door, itsa pretty cool little bar...
kenny arnoff, chas west, jason bonham , carlos cavazio and a bunch of 80's guys do jams there on occasion,
when I first got here in april I did a hired gun gig @ this place...w/ jordan plosky (miley cirrus, everclear) & dave filice ( perry from janes, gr8 white, ritchie kozen)
..the staff was awesome too...I disagree w/ the poster who thinks that the strip is a world reknown joke........yes there are wankers, but there are wankers everywhere. I ve had some gr8 experiences in hollywood, --
-(yes everyone thinks they are a celebrity, and some of em are)...but where else you gonna go, where the owner of the rainbow -(Mario), knows you by name & you can have a beer w/ fkn Lemmy , while watching the eye candy ?
