Maybe he knows that the only ones who will respond would be LAME musicians and he doesn't particularly give a hoot as long as it is frrrrreeeee!!!!! . I mean, anyone who is willing to play for food, drink or to sell their homemade cdeeeeeezzzzzz should not expect to be paid cash unless they are playing for their mommy's tupperware party and in that case, 50 bucks should suffice and most likely will put them well on their way to maybe even playing at Pflush for tips and food and the adoration of their dozen grooopies.

The whole industry from top to bottom has been mortally wounded by the system that created and supported it for all these years and now have reduced it to the very lowest denominator: "free" entertainment! Sad really. A true sign of the times. Maybe it will starve out the wannabees in the end who thought that they could learn to whine mostly in tune to a two chord clam and make money at it?

It used to be that respect and cash compensation went hand in hand. Now everyone is out for themselves and there is no standard for ANYTHING. Get used to low quality music and please enjoy that low-quality food along with it. You deserve it.
